The Fort Lewis Ranger newspaper will print a four page newspaper to go into every care package sent during both the Children's Deployment Fair and Operation Make A Soldier Smile.

The paper will highlight both organizational efforts, provide space for children to color a holiday message to the troops, and highlight the sponsors of the event.  Swarner PR clients' to be recognized include CDS, PMBA and AUSA.

The newspaper is an excellent way for the troops receiving the care packages to better understand how both projects came about this year.

The Children's Deployment Fair is organized by the Fort Lewis Ranger and NW Airlifter newspapers with major funding provided by Joint Base Financial Alliance, CDS, Washington Credit Union Foundation, AUSA, PMBA & Support America's Armed Forces, Korum Motors, The City of Puyallup, and Hawk's Prairie Rotary Club,

Operation Make a Soldier Smile is a project driven by citizens of Dupont with major support from the Pierce Military Business Alliance, The Western Washington Fair, Waste Management, Inc, Multi-Care, and several major citizen sponsors.
