Swarner PR clients will be out in droves TONIGHT...at least in spirit.  For four nights, we'll set up space at the exit to the Fort Lewis Haunted House at Shoreline Park.   At the exit, we'll pass out treat bags loaded with candy and our clients' materials and promotional give-aways, plus we have stickers for the kids.

Also, you'll find us October 30 at the Pet Brigade on Fort Lewis where Go Local has teamed up to provide treats as the Pet Brigade offers free photos with pets.

After that, from 2-4 p.m., we are at the Wounded Warrior Battalion handing out candy to the kids, and our clients' materials to the adults.  Then, back to the Haunted House.

The Pet Brigade on Fort Lewis announced a FREE photos with your pets event for military personnel for Halloween at their Fort Lewis location on North Fort Lewis.  The Pet Brigade wants to salute the troops and families by opening up their shop to customers and non customers on Friday, October 30.

Gilchrist Motors of Tacoma will join the Fort Lewis Ranger newspaper and the Children's Museum of Tacoma as the location for the Nov. 29th Gingerbread House Making event for families of the 5th Stryker Brigade.  The event is free to select families of 5th Brigade.  Those families have been especially impacted due to the ultra dangerous campaigns their loved ones are waging in Afghanistan.  Gilchrist expressed a sincere desire to help those families find positive diversion during the Thanksgiving weekend.

We are manning two booths on Fort Lewis this weekend.  First, you'll find the Fort Lewis Ranger newspaper at the Extreme Mountain Bike competition at Soldier's Filed House handing out goodie bags with our clients' materials inside.  We have lots of toys and fliers to pass to contestants.

Next, DR Horton and The Ranger will be at the Fireman's Fair at the old fire station passing out lots of fire safety handouts to military families.  This is the perfect match for DR Horton and a great chance for them to instruct kids on safely exiting homes during a fire.

The Fort Lewis Ranger & NW Airlifter newspapers are sponsors of the Military Days at the Western Washington Fair.  On Monday, we invited along the United Way to share tent space to highlight the United Way's programs.  We also asked Bob Winkler from McChord's Air Force Sergeant's Association to join us as well so he could sell his Angel Guardian coins.  We will do it again on Sept. 21st - come see us!

Foofaraw, the annual boat cruise to honor our military hosted by the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce was well attended.  Swarner PR clients, AUSA and PMBA showed their true patriotism by contributing money to help power the event.  What great organizations!!

Our sponsorship of the Lacey Military Family Support Day was a big plus for our clients. We far exceeded the number of promotion bags packed with our clients' materials we normally pass out at events – this was a well attended event and a great chance to honor our military.  Once again, the number one item attendees wanted - the Firestone tire gauges!!
